As promised last week, the discussion questions are returning.
This week is a simple one, but should be fun to hear the responses.
What is the WORST movie you've paid money to see in a theater?

By far, Jumper was the worst film I've seen in a theater. I couldn't stand it. The acting was terrible except Jaime Bell. The plot had some huge holes and strayed from the original novel. Envisioned as a foundation for a Jumper franchise, this movie derailed that for years and years to come.
ReplyDeleteTie: Matrix Reloaded and the Friday the 13th remake.
ReplyDeleteMatrix Reloaded was the first time and last time that I ever stood up and walked out of the theater before the movie was over.
But I went alone to that. I did NOT go alone to Friday the 13th. I really, really, really, really wanted to walk out but couldn't. So I just sat there stewing and yelling out loud reaction to every stupid moment like YUCK or UGH or THIS SUCKS. And usually I sit through the credits but as soon as that movie went black I stood up booed and left.
"Dude, Where's My Car?"
ReplyDeleteI got up and left 15 minutes into the film, after the "DUDE!...SWEET!" scene and asked for my money back.
